The bread and the baker


The naughty baker, asked the dough that was ready to be baked - 
How would you want to be? 
Do you want to be,  of a "perfect shape"? 
Or you want to be, "tastier even than the cake"?

The dough, exclaimed, and replied, oh!! I have a chance to ask what I want to BE; 
But neither I ask for a prefect shape,
Nor do I desire to become tastier than the cake.

The bewildered baker asked, so what do you want to BE?

The dough replied - No matter what I become, what matters is - 
Would I lie waste as leftover in a carefree man's plate or 
Would I satisfy the hunger and decide a poor man's fate.

    I totally agree with Monica, desire to be useful. As everybody says, the world cannot change for me, I have to change ..but for me this change is to be as helpful as I can for others, with no desires or nothing in return.
    I would love be the dough as the person requires me to be..and be useful to him.
    Importantly, I am getting a choice to be what I want to be , so then why not...maybe as a friend, brother, uncle, cousin, etc.....
    Just keep giving in any form,like love, care,help, a smile,a shoulder to lean on, etc. Bcoz I know and I believe that I will get it back in any form.
    And even if I don't, still I am happy..
